Safeguarding

We ensure children learn in safe, caring and enriching environment. Children are taught how to keep themselves safe, to develop healthy and positive relationships and to avoid situations where they might be at risk, including how they might be exploited. We have a duty of care to safeguard our children. You contact our safeguarding team by email [email protected] or by phone (0116 276 8812).

Primarily, all staff have a responsibility towards safeguarding our all children and families. However, as a point of contact at the school, our safeguarding team is made up of our Principal, Ms J Virk who is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Other DSL trained staff are Mrs D Swann, Mrs S Audley, Mr A Ashcroft and Mrs K Spooner who act as deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

School frequently provides literature to families about how to keep their children safe online.

We communicate with our parents and families via our WEDUC app.

During morning tasks between 8.45 and 8.55am our families carry out a task with their children. This one was linked to Anti-Bullying.
